Nightingale Vocal Ensemble- Stardust Songs of the Cosmos: October 16th, 2020
This digital program is a mixed-media concert experience, a true merging of many artistic disciplines. It features original pieces by members of the ensemble: Mason Bynes, John Haukoos, Nicholas Ford, Peter Fletcher, and Kelvyn Koning. Stardust aired the night of the new moon occurring on October 16th, 2020, at 8:00 PM (EST).

Festival of New Trumpet Music (FONT) and The Westerlies - September 11th, 2020
New York brass ensemble to perform new work "For Rosa" at the Festival of Trumpet Music in September 2020. In addition, The Westerlies will also be performing this work at The Rosa Parks Museum in Montgomery, AL in December 2020.

Dr Eugene Rogers takes over Thomas Hampson's World of Song series this month, with Movers and Shapers in Classical Music, a series that features powerful conversations with composers, conductors, singers and musicians mostly from the United States who have a global impact on the field. Dr Rogers, our guest-host and curator for August, will spotlight the work of the Sphinx Organization and The Washington Chorus. He will also host a two-part series featuring Black compositional voices who are shaking up the field with their unique sounds and perspectives as both performers and composers.
In this episode, Joel Thomas hosts part two of this compelling conversation highlighting the groundbreaking work of Black composers. His guests include composers Jessie Montgomery, Jasmine Arielle Barnes, and Mason Bynes.
